Hey Beverley! Here's What’s Happening This Week!
This week, Beverley’s buzzing with change and celebration. First up, big plans are in motion for a new petrol station and EV charging hub on Swinemoor Lane. If approved, the Sewell On-the-Go project will bring new jobs, fresh food options, and a cleaner refuel for drivers.
In the town centre, The Boardroom is shaking up midweek fun with half-price darts nights from Tuesday through Thursday. Perfect for unwinding after work or rounding up your mates for something a little different.
And in a proud moment for local education, Leon Myers, headteacher of Swinemoor Primary, has been awarded an MBE in the King’s Birthday Honours. It’s a massive recognition of two decades of inspiring leadership and service.
