🐴 Humberside Police saddle up to fight rural crime
Humberside Police have launched Community Safety Mounted Volunteers - horse riders patrolling East Riding’s countryside to deter crime, spot trouble, and keep rural areas safe. Saddle power meets crime prevention. Read more

🍇 Laurel Vines grape harvest dates revealed
Laurel Vines’ first 2025 grape harvest kicks off on 12th September, with the 20th already sold out. Volunteers get breakfast, lunch, wine tasting, and a day in the vineyard. Sign up

🍻 Raise a glass at the Beverley Autumn Beer Festival.

🚶 £460k footpath and cycleway works begin

Plans could see Beverley Police Station relocated to County Hall, with the historic New Walk building converted into a hotel or leisure site. Locals are split on visibility and access. Read more

🚴‍♂️ Firepit’s 10-hour bike challenge for MND
On Friday, 5th September, Firepit Beverley will pedal non-stop from 12 PM to 10 PM in a virtual cross-country ride raising funds for the Motor Neurone Disease Association. Sweat, miles, and hope on one bike. Join in

🌺 Volunteers needed for Beverley Poppy Appeal.

🐓 Up to 150 chickens stolen from Hutton Cranswick
Humberside Police are investigating after 85-150 chickens vanished from allotments in Hutton Cranswick. Officers warn they may be sold off in small numbers on social media or at fairs. Read more
